Anything about electron tubes (a.k.a. vacuum tubes), an old class of electronic devices which are largely obsolete today.

Electron tubes were the fundamental electronic components until about 1960, when they began being superseded by semiconductor devices, like PN-diodes and transistors. Today they retain just some very limited niche applications.
