Anything about BJTs or FETs differential pairs (a.k.a. long tailed pairs), a particular configuration of two transistors of the same polarity that can be used as a differential amplifier.

A differential pair is a 2-transistor configuration where the emitter (or source for FETs) terminals are joined together, whereas the base (gate) terminals are used as inputs. The collector (drain) terminals are used as outputs.
