Why won't this Globe Electric Dimmable LED securely fit my IKEA November Lamp?
On the **LEFT** is what I just bought today — [Globe Electric 4W (40W Equivalent) Daylight (5000K) Dimmable LED Light Bulb, G9 Bi-Pin Base, 400 Lumens, 15,000 H](https://www.homedepot.ca/product/globe-electric-4w-40w-equivalent-daylight-5000k-dimmable-led-light-bulb-g9-bi-pin-base-400-lumens-15-000-h/1001654813). Here's [Globe Electric's Dimmer Compatibility List](https://globe-electric.com/en/info/). 1. But this LED fails to fit steadily into [my IKEA November Lamp](https://diy.stackexchange.com/q/241236). I must nudge and hold this LED with my fingers into the socket to secure this LED in position, and for this LED to illumine! As soon as I remove my fingers, the LED stops illumining! ***How do I fix this?*** 2. Which side of the LED is the correct one? I tried to insert both sides into the socket. I think Picture 1 is the correct side, as I explained in my picture below. The **RIGHT** is [NOMA 40W G9 Halogen Bulb](https://www.canadiantire.ca/en/pdp/noma-40w-g9-halogen-bulb-0525278p.html) that has always fit snugly into my IKEA November. ![](https://i.imgur.com/iEUdGUL.jpg)
