Easy way to convert over long comment into an answer

It would be great if while typing a quick comment to a question you realise that you are about to exceed the character count and it is a valid answer to the question then simply clicking the Convert to Answer button would make for a lot of answers that may otherwise remain as a very comprehensive comment.

Not sure if the feature would be essential when commenting on an answer but it might get used if it was available.
