The magnetic field will always be strongest in the middle of the solenoid. It will be slightly less at the ends of the solenoid and, it will be a lower value on the outside of the coil half way between the ends of the solenoid. In other words, no amount of voltage present on the coil will change what I have said above and there will be no magical realignment of the magnetic field shape.
