One common 12 V [DC power connector](https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/DC_connector) is the
"2.1 mm plug":
2.1mm inner diameter, 5.5mm outer diameter.
[Jameco](https://www.jameco.com/Jameco/content/walladapter.html) says it is one of the most common DC power connector.

Several [Sparkfun power connectors](https://www.sparkfun.com/categories/387) are 2.1 mm plug compatible.

Several [Adafruit power connectors](https://www.adafruit.com/category/157)
 are 2.1 mm plug compatible.

Many devices, including some [GoTo telescope mounts](https://www.cloudynights.com/topic/715177-why-some-55x20mm-power-plugs-dont-fit-ioptron-mounts/), many [CCTV cameras](https://www.cctvforum.com/topic/20687-cctv-power-jack-adapter-wiring-standard/), the [power socket on Arduino boards](https://learn.adafruit.com/ladyadas-learn-arduino-lesson-number-0/power-jack-and-supply), etc. are 2.1 mm plug compatible.
(Like most devices powered with barrel connectors, they require Tip Positive, and a range of voltages that includes 12 VDC).
