Questions about quantum computing ... apropriate here?
I had a question on quantum-computing at physics, and I'm wondering if questions like that would be appropriate here.
It is not exactly "Electrical Engineering" but very close to it.
It would be well inside of scope if the implementations of qubits could be regarded as an electrical device that just happens to be based on quantum mechanics, like a tunnel diode.

The physics of electrical devices is on topic, at least to the level of understanding why a device does what it does in a circuit.
Tunnel diodes and reading/erasing EEPROM cells are examples of where quantum effects like tunneling become relevant to electrical engineering.
Some aspects of quantum computing should therefore also be on topic. The level won't be as detailed as it would be on the Physics site. If it's something that is taught to today's electrical engineering majors in college, then it is OK. If it's something only a physics major would be exposed to, then it's better to ask on the Physics site.
