Olin, thanks for the awesome answer. Spot on, I was concerned that this was an unreliable circuit, and now I understand why. As you suggest, I will drive the LED with 5V, and then use a constant current circuit driving the led on with 20 ma. To clarify on R2, the 10K to ground. I think you are correc... (more) |
