Comment Post #295180 Same circuit. In my yesterdays simulation result I did not considered the parasitics of Inductor. The ripple frequency is 709Hz abt DVDD rail and 652HZ at AVDD rail. This is not a fixed switching frequency converter

Question Ripple calculation for Powering ADC
This a continuation of my previous question. As Olin suggested, I decided to simulate only Buck-Boost solution for powering my 16 bit ADC. Olin suggested me to add filtering at the output of the Buck-Boost converter. My circuit diagram is given below. Imagealttext Output waveforms and measu...

Comment Post #295172 Initially I thought of using only LTC3531 only. As you suggested I will keep an LC filter at the output of LTC3531. Also I found another IC from TI which has good light load performance. The P/N is TPS63900. Regarding battery cut off , I choose 3V. I got that value from my literature study. Durin...

Question Mitigating Reference Voltage Ripple in 12-bit ADCs Powered by Switching Regulators
I am using a 12-bit ADC with its reference voltage powered by a switching regulator that introduces approximately 33 mV Peak to Peak ripple on the reference line and ripple frequency is 1.7 Khz. Will calibrating the ADC effectively mitigate the effects of this ripple? Additionally, are there...

Question NTC configurations
I need to interface the NTC thermistor with the SAM D5x/E5x microcontroller. During my research, I came across two common circuit configurations for NTC connections: one where the NTC is connected to VCC, and another where it is connected to GND. Please refer to the image below for reference. ...

Question mAs to mAh conversion
May I know how to convert mAs to mAh? I have a chip operating at 3.3 V. Its standby current is 0.00085 mA. In one day, the chip is active for only 4.24 s. To calculate the standby energy consumption, my calculation is as follows: (0.00085 mA) × (86400 − 4.24) s = 73.44 mAs To co...

Question PID Gas sensor interfacing with ADC
I am interfacing this gas sensor to the ADC of TI CC1352P. May I know can I directly connect the output of this gas sensor to ADC (I mean after the gas sensor output I will keep an RC circuit with some cut off frequency less than 100Hz) or do I need to place a unity gain buffer before the ADC. ...
