Comment Post #291347 +1. In particular, the signal rise time on the output of a 74AHC132 is less than 20 ns, no matter the frequency -- it's the same rise time no matter if it happens once (a single event), once a minute, once a second, 1000 times a second, or a million times a second.

Question How do "O-ring circuit" differ from an "ORing circuit" or "OR-ing circuit", or are they synonyms?
I've seen a few different circuits (a) (b) (c) (d) described as "an O-ring circuit" or "an optimal O-ring circuit". What does the "O" and the "ring" refer to in such circuits? How do "O-ring circuit" differ from an "ORing circuit" or "OR-ing circuit", or are they synonyms? (m) (n) (o) (p) ...

Comment Post #285494 There do exist a few memory chips with a serial interface and at least 64 MBytes of storage. For example, Cypress S25FS512S, S25FL512S, and S25HS512T (64 MByte) and S70FL01GS (128 MByte), all SPI Flash. (Doesn't really answer your question, hence a comment, but perhaps you'll find it useful.)

Answer A: ESD USB Shield Connection & Filtering
Connect the shield directly to ground plane Most manufacturers recommend connecting the USB connector case (which is connected to the cable shield) directly to the PCB ground plane. In theory, when lots of electrons hit the ground plane of an isolated PCB, suddenly changing its voltage relative...

Answer A: What is the popular 12 V DC jack connector?
One common 12 V DC power connector is the "2.1 mm plug": 2.1mm inner diameter, 5.5mm outer diameter. Jameco says it is one of the most common DC power connector. Several Sparkfun power connectors are 2.1 mm plug compatible. Several Adafruit power connectors are 2.1 mm plug compatible. M...

Answer A: SPI modes difference
From the point of view of the SPI peripheral (and any debugging tools you have directly connected to the SPI bus), there is no difference between SPI stream and memory-mapped SPI. The difference is entirely in how the data going to and coming from the SPI bus is translated to the rest of the system....
