Thank you for your reply, I chose nrf24 because it is a one time project and there is a lot of material for it online, since it is often used in Arduino projects. It was also in stock in large quantities in multiple vendors and as you mentioned getting anything delivered is quite a nightmare right no... (more) |

Thank you for your answer. I'm aware of the design example. I didn't formulate the question clearly. My main question is basically: How do I know, if the PA is necessary? Is there a way to calculate approximate range of nrf24 chip together with an SMA antenna? (more) |

I will try my luck one last time, and ask: In your answer you suggested using "low-power comparator to deactivate the added MOSFET". Did you mean something like TLV6713 or LM311? (more) |

The voltage divider makes sure that the voltage will remain at 6.2 V on the Vcc pin of the supervisor when the batteries are fully charged. As for the discharging of the battery trough the diode, do you mean the lower Q3 MOSFET? It will be switched on even after the voltage drops under 6 V. Yes there... (more) |

Is that because of its input current of 20 mA? Yes i can see now that is too high. I have found, hopefully, a better one. I am not sure how one can calculate the comparators power draw once the voltage threshold has been crossed. Can Quiescent Supply Current be used for this? (more) |

Thank you for your answer. I edited the question adding the new circuit schematics. Would this one work? (more) |
